Worship

At St. Paul's, worship is the main event; it is what brings people back week after week. We celebrate the promise that God made to all by sending his Son, not to condemn, but to love.

St. Paul's is located in downtown Muskegon, but more than that, St. Paul's loves downtown Muskegon. Evangelism allows St. Paul's to meet its neighbors, build connections in the community, and bring hope to the city that we love.

Give

We express generosity in many ways. I was made aware of this when I read about different modes of giving in a church newsletter from Trinity Church, Wall Street, in New York City. There are four concepts of giving: charity, philanthropy, fund-raising and stewardship.

Fifth Guild

Fifth Guild was formed many years ago to offer an opportunity to meet and get to know other members of St. Paul’s. We meet for lunch on the third Tuesday of the month (eight months of the year; April through November) at 12:30pm at the Muskegon Country Club.

At times we help with projects and needs of St. Paul’s. Each summer we sponsor an Ice Cream Social which is enjoyed by all (this year scheduled for August 18). In the fall, we usually order and sell ‘mammoth, first pick Georgia pecans and California walnuts’ if St. Paul’s members indicate they want them. They are delicious and great for baking, snacks and gifts. All amounts received over our costs are used for projects benefiting St. Paul’s.
