A 10-week course will be offered at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Muskegon, Wednesday evenings, 6-8 pm, beginning March 8. (March 8, 15, 22, and 29, class begins with a Lenten Soup Supper—class will start at 6:15 those dates.) The schedule with specific topics is outlined below, and more detailed flyers are available at the church. Reverend Elsa Pressentin, Judy Fleener, and Eileen Stoffan will be presenting the information and leading the discussions, which will prepare participants who desire to be confirmed or reaffirmed in the Episcopal faith at the next Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan Confirmation/Reaffirmation Service on Saturday, June 3, in Beulah, Michigan.
The instructors will be using the following texts: Your Faith Your Life: An Invitation to the Episcopal Church, by Jenifer Gamber with Bill Lewellis; “Preparing for the Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows,” Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan; Holy Bible, NRSV; and Book of Common Prayer (BCP). You may wish to bring a spiral notebook for taking notes.
