Meet the Priest

Hello from the Priest in Charge of St. Paul’s!  I have lived in Muskegon since 1994 and am very happy to be serving in this familiar parish.  I was baptized, confirmed, and married in the Episcopal Church, which means I am a “cradle Episcopalian.”  I graduated with a BA and MA from Michigan State University, and I wrote newspaper and magazine articles and taught high school English Literature prior to answering the call to the priesthood.  I graduated from Bexley Seabury Episcopal Seminary with my Master of Divinity and was ordained to Holy Orders in February, 2021.

I am a widow with four grown children.  They are the light of my life—funny, kind, accomplished, and Episcopalians all.

Come visit us, and feel free to ask questions about St. Paul’s or about your beliefs; we are an open, loving group of people who welcome you.

Rev. Eileen B. Stoffan (please call me Eileen!)
