SACRED SPACE WHERE YOU HAVE A PLACE TO FEED YOUR SOUL
“For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
My hope and prayer is that St. Paul’s will be that spiritual home where you experience God’s Spirit surrounded by the love of sisters and brothers in Christ.
We have been blessed by 150 years of faithfulness and determination to make St. Paul’s a “House of Prayer for All People”; a place where people can “Connect to the Presence, Power and Compassion of Jesus”; a place to feed your soul; encourage each other in prayer, develop new friendships; experience healing and make connections to last a lifetime.
Our name sake the Apostle Paul did not support the image of someone watching the game played by others. He visioned a fully engaged and equipped follower of Jesus with a place in the game as a team player…St. Paul urged Timothy to “be strong.” He counsels him to “fan into flame the gift of God which is in you…For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self – discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7
It has been said that “A job is what you are paid for, but God’s Calling is what you are made for!” Move from searching for Success to finding a life of Significance. We have an Inquirers Class which gathers for Coffee, Conversation and Community Building in the Parish Hall following the 8am and 1030am services. We are beginning small group bible studies and have many opportunities to serve the less fortunate in our community.
If you are searching for deeper meaning and purpose in your life join us. We welcome you and want to walk alongside you as we all draw closer to God.
Come eat from God’s table the eternal bread of Jesus and drink from the well of the Holy Spirit that never runs dry.
Your Brother in Christ,
